This is a cream based, shimmery eyeshadow. It goes on very smoothly, and has an easy application. The colors are very flattering on many skin tones, ranging from bronze and gold hues to lavender and champagne. This is definitely a more sheer look, but is also build able. I prefer this over the sky wash product, which is a matte version with different colors. I think cream eyeshadows looks smoothest when they are enhanced with shimmer (matte often clumps up and gives off a very dry look on the lid). Note: the tube has a lot of product, and I think the price point on this is fair.
